Are you passionate about cooking and ready to bring your skills to a friendly, supportive team? We’re looking for a dedicated Chef to join us in Scunthorpe, working Monday to Friday. In this role, you’ll help prepare delicious meals, maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, and contribute to creating a positive dining experience for everyone. Whether you’re experienced or looking to develop your career in a busy kitchen environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What you'll do:

• Manage the preparation and production of food to ensure consistently high-quality meals.
• Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and health and safety standards across all kitchen areas.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including opening and closing procedures and budget controls.
• Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and professional standards are met, supporting and guiding the team.
• Be confident in menu knowledge, cooking methods, and service delivery, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment is preferred, ideally within a commercial or corporate setting.
• Possession of a recognised Food Hygiene Qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable.
• Ability to manage your workload effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
• Reliable, flexible, and able to support team members as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Awareness of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety practices, with a proactive approach to maintaining a safe working environment.
